Vanaire’s fiberglass Containment Systems are designed to reduce operating expenses and delays associated with the site preparation process that comes with the installation of chemical processing tanks. Our free-standing containment sumps are the perfect solution if you prefer not breaking up concrete, forming curbs, or coating floors in your facility.
At Vanaire, we can custom-mold your containment sump to have the same length of your entire tank line and the same width of your tank and walkway in front of your tanks. We can also install trays at a minimum height of 18 inches, notched to fit around the superstructure of any automated hoist system.
The installation process of our Containment Systems includes raising the chemical tank off the far by setting it on 6-inch wide FRP flange beams inside the containment try. This spacing prevents the tanks from soaking in the chemical solutions, which goes a long way towards prolonging their lifespan.
Vanaire engineers will also install a 12-inch tall operator walkway around the tank, keeping personnel at a safe distance from the chemicals. This platform height, paired with the 6-inch high spacing of the tank, allows for ease of access at the bank of the tank.
